All girls in grades 6th-8th will be offered the opportunity to try out and earn a position on the St. George Cheer squad. Tryouts will be held in the spring for all eligible rising 6th-8th grade girls for the following school year. One cheer squad for each grade will be selected from outside qualified judges. Cheerleaders will cheer at boys football games, girls basketball games and boys basketball games from August-early March, and lead the school pep rallies throughout the year.
