Piano

In the Fall of 2015, St. George Catholic School introduced an exciting addition to the Instrumental Music Department - a Yamaha Digital Piano Lab with 16 Yamaha P Series Student Model Instruments and a Yamaha CVP Clavinova Teacher Instrument.

The SGS Piano Lab began with a pilot program in which every 3rd grade student was given one semester of piano instruction during classroom music. This innovative curriculum continues to prove extremely successful.

Please watch this informative video for more information about the 3rd Grade Piano Program.

If you have questions regarding the SGS Piano Lab, please email Mrs. Jan Dupre, jan.dupre@sgschoolbr.org or call (225) 293-1298.
