Faith Formation at St. George Catholic School


An integral part of the mission of St. George Catholic School is promoting faith development through liturgy, prayer, and service. In the spirit of this mission, St. George Catholic School students participate in faith formation on a daily basis. Examples of the numerous school-wide and grade level student faith formation events are listed below. 

School-Wide Faith Formation

  • PreK
    • Chapel Service twice a month
    • Religion Class taught by teacher four times a week
       
  • Kindergarten - 8th Grade
    • Weekly School Liturgy
    • Annual Grade Level Retreat
    • Attends Weekly Stations of the Cross and Living Stations of the Cross
    • Religion Class taught by Catechists four times a week
    • Special Advent Morning Prayer lead by Student Council Members
    • Virtue of the Month: Emphasis on a chosen virtue along with a Saint who demonstrated this virtue is provided to school families via the school newsletter and to students during religion class.
