New student applications for the 2026–2027 school year will be available beginning November 1, 2025.
New student applications are to be completed online and submitted with a non-refundable application fee ($150.00).
Applicants New To St. George Catholic School (District Code: SGCS-LA):
Applicants of Current St. George Catholic School Families - Current St. George Catholic School parents should log into their FACTS Parent Portal account (Apply/Enroll tab) to complete a new student application.
Age requirements for entrance are as follows:
PreK - students must be 4 by September 30 of the year they enter school
Kindergarten - students must be 5 by September 30 of the year they enter school
Grade 1 - students must be 6 by September 30 of the year they enter school and have successfully completed kindergarten
Copies of the following documents for the applicant must be uploaded with the application:
- Birth certificate
- Immunization record: Current State of Louisiana Universal Statement of Immunizations or Louisiana Department of Education Immunization Statement Of Exemption From Immunizations form
NOTICE PURSUANT TO LA. R.S. § 17:170(E)(2)
In accordance with Act No. 675 (HB 47 of the Louisiana Legislature’s 2024 Regular Session)
and La. R.S. § 17:170(E)(2), please be advised of the following:
La. R.S. § 17:170(E)(1) provides that “No person attending or seeking to enter any school or facility enumerated in Subsection A of this Section shall be required to comply with the provisions of this Section, including any additional immunization or proof of immunity requirement adopted pursuant to the provisions of this Section, if the person is a distance learner or if the person or his parent or guardian submits either a written statement from a physician stating that the procedure is contraindicated for medical reasons, or a written dissent from the student or his parent or guardian.” - Social security card
- Sacramental Record: Baptismal certificate (if applicable), first reconciliation certificate (if applicable), first communion certificate (if applicable)
- Current and all prior report cards (if applicable)
- Standardized test scores (if applicable)
The deadline for submitting an application is December 15th.
All applications are reviewed by the Admissions Committee. Applicants being considered for enrollment in PreK - 8th will be screened prior to acceptance to determine academic and developmental readiness. Acceptance criteria will then be applied.
